Lizzy Barrish is a Brooklyn-based artist working across ceramics, painting, silkscreen printmaking, and digital design. She graduated with honors from the University of Vermont in 2021 with a degree in Studio Art, and continues to seek new mediums and techniques to expand her practice.

Her ceramic work centers on creating functional wares designed to bring everyday joy to those who use them. Through underglaze mark making and sgraffito, she explores the bounds of surface design, merging her background in painting and drawing with her evolving pursuit of clay.

By day, Lizzy is part of the Marketing team at Burlington’s own Skida Headwear & Accessories, where she blends web, social, and design work. She’s also brought a handful of her print designs to life—now featured on footwear and other gear out in the world.

Whether she’s making art, doing yoga, skateboarding, or cooking, Lizzy approaches daily life as an extension of her creative practice, and is always open to where it might lead her next.
